Hans de Goede b5d3ebdeea platform/x86: asus-wmi: Change ASUS_WMI_BRN_DOWN code from 0x20 to 0x2e
[ Upstream commit f37cc2fc277b371fc491890afb7d8a26e36bb3a1 ]

Older Asus laptops change the backlight level themselves and then send
WMI events with different codes for different backlight levels.

The asus-wmi.c code maps the entire range of codes reported on
brightness down keypresses to an internal ASUS_WMI_BRN_DOWN code:

define NOTIFY_BRNUP_MIN                0x11
define NOTIFY_BRNUP_MAX                0x1f
define NOTIFY_BRNDOWN_MIN              0x20
define NOTIFY_BRNDOWN_MAX              0x2e

        if (code >= NOTIFY_BRNUP_MIN && code <= NOTIFY_BRNUP_MAX)
                code = ASUS_WMI_BRN_UP;
        else if (code >= NOTIFY_BRNDOWN_MIN && code <= NOTIFY_BRNDOWN_MAX)
                code = ASUS_WMI_BRN_DOWN;

Before this commit all the NOTIFY_BRNDOWN_MIN - NOTIFY_BRNDOWN_MAX
aka 0x20 - 0x2e events were mapped to 0x20.

This mapping is causing issues on new laptop models which actually
send 0x2b events for printscreen presses and 0x2c events for
capslock presses, which get translated into spurious brightness-down
presses.

The plan is disable the 0x11-0x2e special mapping on laptops
where asus-wmi does not register a backlight-device to avoid
the spurious brightness-down keypresses. New laptops always send
0x2e for brightness-down presses, change the special internal
ASUS_WMI_BRN_DOWN value from 0x20 to 0x2e to match this in
preparation for fixing the spurious brightness-down presses.

This change does not have any functional impact since all
of 0x20 - 0x2e is mapped to ASUS_WMI_BRN_DOWN first and only
then checked against the keymap code and the new 0x2e
value is still in the 0x20 - 0x2e range.

Hans de Goede 44481b244f HID: logitech-hidpp: Fix kernel crash on receiver USB disconnect
commit dac501397b9d81e4782232c39f94f4307b137452 upstream.

hidpp_connect_event() has *four* time-of-check vs time-of-use (TOCTOU)
races when it races with itself.

hidpp_connect_event() primarily runs from a workqueue but it also runs
on probe() and if a "device-connected" packet is received by the hw
when the thread running hidpp_connect_event() from probe() is waiting on
the hw, then a second thread running hidpp_connect_event() will be
started from the workqueue.

This opens the following races (note the below code is simplified):

1. Retrieving + printing the protocol (harmless race):

	if (!hidpp->protocol_major) {
		hidpp_root_get_protocol_version()
		hidpp->protocol_major = response.rap.params[0];
	}

We can actually see this race hit in the dmesg in the abrt output
attached to rhbz#2227968:

[ 3064.624215] logitech-hidpp-device 0003:046D:4071.0049: HID++ 4.5 device connected.
[ 3064.658184] logitech-hidpp-device 0003:046D:4071.0049: HID++ 4.5 device connected.

Testing with extra logging added has shown that after this the 2 threads
take turn grabbing the hw access mutex (send_mutex) so they ping-pong
through all the other TOCTOU cases managing to hit all of them:

2. Updating the name to the HIDPP name (harmless race):

	if (hidpp->name == hdev->name) {
		...
		hidpp->name = new_name;
	}

3. Initializing the power_supply class for the battery (problematic!):

hidpp_initialize_battery()
{
        if (hidpp->battery.ps)
                return 0;

	probe_battery(); /* Blocks, threads take turns executing this */

	hidpp->battery.desc.properties =
		devm_kmemdup(dev, hidpp_battery_props, cnt, GFP_KERNEL);

	hidpp->battery.ps =
		devm_power_supply_register(&hidpp->hid_dev->dev,
					   &hidpp->battery.desc, cfg);
}

4. Creating delayed input_device (potentially problematic):

	if (hidpp->delayed_input)
		return;

	hidpp->delayed_input = hidpp_allocate_input(hdev);

The really big problem here is 3. Hitting the race leads to the following
sequence:

	hidpp->battery.desc.properties =
		devm_kmemdup(dev, hidpp_battery_props, cnt, GFP_KERNEL);

	hidpp->battery.ps =
		devm_power_supply_register(&hidpp->hid_dev->dev,
					   &hidpp->battery.desc, cfg);

	...

	hidpp->battery.desc.properties =
		devm_kmemdup(dev, hidpp_battery_props, cnt, GFP_KERNEL);

	hidpp->battery.ps =
		devm_power_supply_register(&hidpp->hid_dev->dev,
					   &hidpp->battery.desc, cfg);

So now we have registered 2 power supplies for the same battery,
which looks a bit weird from userspace's pov but this is not even
the really big problem.

Notice how:

1. This is all devm-maganaged
2. The hidpp->battery.desc struct is shared between the 2 power supplies
3. hidpp->battery.desc.properties points to the result from the second
   devm_kmemdup()

This causes a use after free scenario on USB disconnect of the receiver:
1. The last registered power supply class device gets unregistered
2. The memory from the last devm_kmemdup() call gets freed,
   hidpp->battery.desc.properties now points to freed memory
3. The first registered power supply class device gets unregistered,
   this involves sending a remove uevent to userspace which invokes
   power_supply_uevent() to fill the uevent data
4. power_supply_uevent() uses hidpp->battery.desc.properties which
   now points to freed memory leading to backtraces like this one:

There have been quite a few bug reports (see Link tags) about this crash.

Fix all the TOCTOU issues, including the really bad power-supply related
system crash on USB disconnect, by making probe() use the workqueue for
running hidpp_connect_event() too, so that it can never run more then once.

[ Upstream commit 84b4bd7e0d98166aa32fd470e672721190492eae ]

When the ov2680_power_on() "sensor soft reset failed" path is hit during
probe() the WARN() about putting an enabled regulator at
drivers/regulator/core.c:2398 triggers 3 times (once for each regulator),
filling dmesg with backtraces.

Fix this by properly disabling the regulators on ov2680_power_on() errors.

[ Upstream commit 50a7bad4e0a37d7018ab6fe843dd84bc6b2ecf72 ]

The index into ov2680_hv_flip_bayer_order[] should be 0-3, but
ov2680_bayer_order() was using 0 + BIT(2) + (BIT(2) << 1) as
max index, while the intention was to use: 0 + 1 + 2 as max index.

Fix the index calculation in ov2680_bayer_order(), while at it
also just use the ctrl values rather then reading them back using
a slow i2c-read transaction.

This also allows making the function void, since there now are
no more i2c-reads to error check.

Note the check for the ctrls being NULL is there to allow
adding an ov2680_fill_format() helper later, which will call
ov2680_set_bayer_order() during probe() before the ctrls are created.

Hans de Goede 3d542c9395 media: ov2680: Remove auto-gain and auto-exposure controls
[ Upstream commit 7b5a42e6ae71927359ea67a2c22570ba97fa4059 ]

Quoting the OV2680 datasheet:

"3.2 exposure and gain control

In the OV2680, the exposure time and gain are set manually from an external
controller. The OV2680 supports manual gain and exposure control only for
normal applications, no auto mode."

And indeed testing with the atomisp_ov2680 fork of ov2680.c has shown that
auto-exposure and auto-gain do not work.

Note that the code setting the auto-exposure flag was broken, callers
of ov2680_exposure_set() were directly passing !!ctrls->auto_exp->val as
"bool auto_exp" value, but ctrls->auto_exp is a menu control with:

enum  v4l2_exposure_auto_type {
        V4L2_EXPOSURE_AUTO = 0,
        V4L2_EXPOSURE_MANUAL = 1,
	...

So instead of passing !!ctrls->auto_exp->val they should have been passing
ctrls->auto_exp->val == V4L2_EXPOSURE_AUTO, iow the passed value was
inverted of what it should have been.

Also remove ov2680_g_volatile_ctrl() since without auto support the gain
and exposure controls are not volatile.

This also fixes the control values not being properly applied in
ov2680_mode_set(). The 800x600 mode register-list also sets gain,
exposure and vflip overriding the last set ctrl values.

ov2680_mode_set() does call ov2680_gain_set() and ov2680_exposure_set()
but did this before writing the mode register-list, so these values
would still be overridden by the mode register-list.

Add a v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup() call after writing the mode register-list
to restore all ctrl values. Also remove the ctrls->gain->is_new check from
ov2680_gain_set() so that the gain always gets restored properly.

Last since ov2680_mode_set() now calls v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup(), remove
the v4l2_ctrl_handler_setup() call after ov2680_mode_restore() since
ov2680_mode_restore() calls ov2680_mode_set().

[ Upstream commit e3ab18de2b09361d6f0e4aafb9cfd6d002ce43a1 ]

On a HP Elite Dragonfly G2 the 0xcc and 0xcd events for SW_TABLET_MODE
are only send after the BTNL ACPI method has been called.

Likely more devices need this, so make the BTNL ACPI method unconditional
instead of only doing it on devices with a 5 button array.

Note this also makes the intel_button_array_enable() call in probe()
unconditional, that function does its own priv->array check. This makes
the intel_button_array_enable() call in probe() consistent with the calls
done on suspend/resume which also rely on the priv->array check inside
the function.

[ Upstream commit a5299ce4e96f3e8930e9c051b28d8093ada87b08 ]

ab8500_btemp_external_power_changed() dereferences di->btemp_psy,
which gets sets in ab8500_btemp_probe() like this:

        di->btemp_psy = devm_power_supply_register(dev, &ab8500_btemp_desc,
                                                   &psy_cfg);

As soon as devm_power_supply_register() has called device_add()
the external_power_changed callback can get called. So there is a window
where ab8500_btemp_external_power_changed() may get called while
di->btemp_psy has not been set yet leading to a NULL pointer dereference.

Fixing this is easy. The external_power_changed callback gets passed
the power_supply which will eventually get stored in di->btemp_psy,
so ab8500_btemp_external_power_changed() can simply directly use
the passed in psy argument which is always valid.

And the same applies to ab8500_fg_external_power_changed().

[ Upstream commit 77c2a3097d7029441e8a91aa0de1b4e5464593da ]

The bq24192 model relies on external charger-type detection and once
that is done the bq24190_charger code will update the input current.

In this case, when the initial power_supply_changed() call is made
from the interrupt handler, the input settings are 5V/0.5A which
on many devices is not enough power to charge (while the device is on).

On many devices the fuel-gauge relies in its external_power_changed
callback to timely signal userspace about charging <-> discharging
status changes. Add a power_supply_changed() call after updating
the input current. This allows the fuel-gauge driver to timely recheck
if the battery is charging after the new input current has been applied
and then it can immediately notify userspace about this.

[ Upstream commit 2220af8ca61ae67de4ec3deec1c6395a2f65b9fd ]

Some (USB) charger ICs have variants with USB D+ and D- pins to do their
own builtin charger-type detection, like e.g. the bq24190 and bq25890 and
also variants which lack this functionality, e.g. the bq24192 and bq25892.

In case the charger-type; and thus the input-current-limit detection is
done outside the charger IC then we need some way to communicate this to
the charger IC. In the past extcon was used for this, but if the external
detection does e.g. full USB PD negotiation then the extcon cable-types do
not convey enough information.

For these setups it was decided to model the external charging "brick"
and the parameters negotiated with it as a power_supply class-device
itself; and power_supply_set_input_current_limit_from_supplier() was
introduced to allow drivers to get the input-current-limit this way.

But in some cases psy drivers may want to know other properties, e.g. the
bq25892 can do "quick-charge" negotiation by pulsing its current draw,
but this should only be done if the usb_type psy-property of its supplier
is set to DCP (and device-properties indicate the board allows higher
voltages).

Hans de Goede 465d919151 power: supply: bq27xxx: Fix poll_interval handling and races on remove
commit c00bc80462afc7963f449d7f21d896d2f629cacc upstream.

Before this patch bq27xxx_battery_teardown() was setting poll_interval = 0
to avoid bq27xxx_battery_update() requeuing the delayed_work item.

There are 2 problems with this:

1. If the driver is unbound through sysfs, rather then the module being
   rmmod-ed, this changes poll_interval unexpectedly

2. This is racy, after it being set poll_interval could be changed
   before bq27xxx_battery_update() checks it through
   /sys/module/bq27xxx_battery/parameters/poll_interval

Fix this by added a removed attribute to struct bq27xxx_device_info and
using that instead of setting poll_interval to 0.

There also is another poll_interval related race on remove(), writing
/sys/module/bq27xxx_battery/parameters/poll_interval will requeue
the delayed_work item for all devices on the bq27xxx_battery_devices
list and the device being removed was only removed from that list
after cancelling the delayed_work item.

Fix this by moving the removal from the bq27xxx_battery_devices list
to before cancelling the delayed_work item.

devm_request_threaded_irq() requested IRQs are only free-ed after

commit 5c34c0aef185dcd10881847b9ebf20046aa77cb4 upstream.

bq27xxx_battery_update() assumes / requires that it is only run once,
not multiple times at the same time. But there are 3 possible callers:

1. bq27xxx_battery_poll() delayed_work item handler
2. bq27xxx_battery_irq_handler_thread() I2C IRQ handler
3. bq27xxx_battery_setup()

And there is no protection against these racing with each other,
fix this race condition by making all callers take di->lock:

- Rename bq27xxx_battery_update() to bq27xxx_battery_update_unlocked()

- Add new bq27xxx_battery_update() which takes di->lock and then calls
  bq27xxx_battery_update_unlocked()

- Make stale cache check code in bq27xxx_battery_get_property(), which
  already takes di->lock directly to check the jiffies, call
  bq27xxx_battery_update_unlocked() instead of messing with
  the delayed_work item

- Make bq27xxx_battery_update_unlocked() mod the delayed-work item
  so that the next poll is delayed to poll_interval milliseconds after
  the last update independent of the source of the update

commit e4484643991e0f6b89060092563f0dbab9450cbb upstream.

When a battery's status changes from charging to full then
the charging-blink-full-solid trigger tries to change
the LED from blinking to solid/on.

As is documented in include/linux/leds.h to deactivate blinking /
to make the LED solid a LED_OFF must be send:

"""
         * Deactivate blinking again when the brightness is set to LED_OFF
         * via the brightness_set() callback.
"""

led_set_brighness() calls with a brightness value other then 0 / LED_OFF
merely change the brightness of the LED in its on state while it is
blinking.

So power_supply_update_bat_leds() must first send a LED_OFF event
before the LED_FULL to disable blinking.

This lockdep warning is triggered because with Thunderbolt, hotplug ports
are nested. When removing multiple devices in a daisy-chain, each hotplug
port's reset_lock may be acquired recursively. It's never the same lock, so
the lockdep splat is a false positive.

Because locks at the same hierarchy level are never acquired recursively, a
per-level lockdep class is sufficient to fix the lockdep warning.

The choice to use one lockdep subclass per pcie-hotplug controller in the
path to the root-bus was made to conserve class keys because their number
is limited and the complexity grows quadratically with number of keys
according to Documentation/locking/lockdep-design.rst.

Commit 2cc6c71779 ("msi-laptop: Port to new backlight interface

	if (!quirks->old_ec_model || acpi_video_backlight_support())
		pr_info("Brightness ignored, ...");
	else
		do_register();

With:

	if (quirks->old_ec_model ||
	    acpi_video_get_backlight_type() == acpi_backlight_vendor)
		do_register();

But since the do_register() part was part of the else branch, the entire
condition should be inverted. So not only the 2 statements on either
side of the || should be inverted, but the || itself should be replaced
with a &&.

In practice this has likely not been an issue because the new-ec models

2 keymap fixes for the Acer Aspire One AOD270 and the same hardware
rebranded as Packard Bell Dot SC:

1. The F2 key is marked with a big '?' symbol on the Packard Bell Dot SC,
this sends WMID_HOTKEY_EVENTs with a scancode of 0x27 add a mapping
for this.

2. Scancode 0x61 is KEY_SWITCHVIDEOMODE. Usually this is a duplicate
input event with the "Video Bus" input device events. But on these devices
the "Video Bus" does not send events for this key. Map 0x61 to KEY_UNKNOWN
instead of using KE_IGNORE so that udev/hwdb can override it on these devs.

Since commit 9bcf15f75cac ("iio: adc: axp288: Fix TS-pin handling") we
preserve the bias current set by the firmware at boot. This fixes issues

Add a quirk entry for the Nuvision Solo 10 Draw to the DMI quirk table

commit 04b7762e37c95d9b965d16bb0e18dbd1fa2e2861 upstream.

Before these changes elan_suspend() would only disable the regulator
when device_may_wakeup() returns false; whereas elan_resume() would
unconditionally enable it, leading to an enable count imbalance when
device_may_wakeup() returns true.

This triggers the "WARN_ON(regulator->enable_count)" in regulator_put()
when the elan_i2c driver gets unbound, this happens e.g. with the
hot-plugable dock with Elan I2C touchpad for the Asus TF103C 2-in-1.

Fix this by making the regulator_enable() call also be conditional
on device_may_wakeup() returning false.

[ Upstream commit bdfd6ab8fdccd8b138837efff66f4a1911496378 ]

If the IRQ is already in use, then acpi_dev_gpio_irq_get_by() really
should not change the type underneath the current owner.

I specifically hit an issue with this an a Chuwi Hi8 Super (CWI509) Bay
Trail tablet, when the Boot OS selection in the BIOS is set to Android.
In this case _STA for a MAX17047 ACPI I2C device wrongly returns 0xf and
the _CRS resources for this device include a GpioInt pointing to a GPIO
already in use by an _AEI handler, with a different type then specified
in the _CRS for the MAX17047 device. Leading to the acpi_dev_gpio_irq_get()
call done by the i2c-core-acpi.c code changing the type breaking the
_AEI handler.

Now this clearly is a bug in the DSDT of this tablet (in Android mode),
but in general calling irq_set_irq_type() on an IRQ which already is
in use seems like a bad idea.

The handling of PMIC register reads through writing 0 to address 4

through the value64, which is a no-op for function == ACPI_WRITE calls,
store the value and then on a subsequent function == ACPI_READ with

Hans de Goede 91264ae7fc mfd: axp20x: Update AXP288 volatile ranges
[ Upstream commit f949a9ebce7a18005266b859a17f10c891bb13d7 ]

On Cherry Trail devices with an AXP288 PMIC the external SD-card slot
used the AXP's DLDO2 as card-voltage and either DLDO3 or GPIO1LDO
(GPIO1 pin in low noise LDO mode) as signal-voltage.

These regulators are turned on/off and in case of the signal-voltage
also have their output-voltage changed by the _PS0 and _PS3 power-
management ACPI methods on the MMC-controllers ACPI fwnode as well as
by the _DSM ACPI method for changing the signal voltage.

The AML code implementing these methods is directly accessing the
PMIC through ACPI I2C OpRegion accesses, instead of using the special
PMIC OpRegion handled by drivers/acpi/pmic/intel_pmic_xpower.c .

This means that the contents of the involved PMIC registers can change
without the change being made through the regmap interface, so regmap
should not cache the contents of these registers.

Mark the regulator power on/off, the regulator voltage control and the
GPIO1 control registers as volatile, to avoid regmap caching them.

Specifically this fixes an issue on some models where the i915 driver
toggles another LDO using the same on/off register on/off through
MIPI sequences (through intel_soc_pmic_exec_mipi_pmic_seq_element())
which then writes back a cached on/off register-value where the
card-voltage is off causing the external sdcard slot to stop working
when the screen goes blank, or comes back on again.

The regulator register-range now marked volatile also includes the
buck regulator control registers. This is done on purpose these are
normally not touched by the AML code, but they are updated directly
by the SoC's PUNIT which means that they may also change without going
through regmap.

Note the AXP288 PMIC is only used on Bay- and Cherry-Trail platforms,
so even though this is an ACPI specific problem there is no need to
make the new volatile ranges conditional since these platforms always
use ACPI.

[ Upstream commit da91ece226729c76f60708efc275ebd4716ad089 ]

Like some other Bay and Cherry Trail SoC based devices the Dell Venue
10 Pro 5055 has an embedded-controller which uses ACPI GPIO events to
report events instead of using the standard ACPI EC interface for this.

The EC interrupt is only used to report battery-level changes and
it keeps doing this while the system is suspended, causing the system
to not stay suspended.

Add an ignore-wake quirk for the GPIO pin used by the EC to fix the
spurious wakeups from suspend.

Hans de Goede 10a6d9f8f7 Input: silead - add workaround for x86 BIOS-es which bring the chip up in a stuck state
[ Upstream commit e479187748a8f151a85116a7091c599b121fdea5 ]

Some buggy BIOS-es bring up the touchscreen-controller in a stuck
state where it blocks the I2C bus. Specifically this happens on
the Jumper EZpad 7 tablet model.

After much poking at this problem I have found that the following steps
are necessary to unstuck the chip / bus:

1. Turn off the Silead chip.
2. Try to do an I2C transfer with the chip, this will fail in response to
   which the I2C-bus-driver will call: i2c_recover_bus() which will unstuck
   the I2C-bus. Note the unstuck-ing of the I2C bus only works if we first
   drop the chip of the bus by turning it off.
3. Turn the chip back on.

On the x86/ACPI systems were this problem is seen, step 1. and 3. require
making ACPI calls and dealing with ACPI Power Resources. This commit adds
a workaround which runtime-suspends the chip to turn it off, leaving it up
to the ACPI subsystem to deal with all the ACPI specific details.

There is no good way to detect this bug, so the workaround gets activated
by a new "silead,stuck-controller-bug" boolean device-property. Since this
is only used on x86/ACPI, this will be set by model specific device-props
set by drivers/platform/x86/touchscreen_dmi.c. Therefor this new
device-property is not documented in the DT-bindings.

Dmesg will contain the following messages on systems where the workaround
is activated:

Despite these errors, the elants_i2c driver stays bound to the device
(it returns 0 from its probe method despite the errors), blocking the
i2c-hid driver from binding.

Manually unbinding the elants_i2c driver and binding the i2c-hid driver
makes the touchscreen work.

Check if the ACPI-fwnode for the touchscreen contains one of the i2c-hid
compatiblity-id strings and if it has the I2C-HID spec's DSM to get the
HID descriptor address, If it has both then make elants_i2c not bind,
so that the i2c-hid driver can bind.

This assumes that non of the (older) elan touchscreens which actually
need the elants_i2c driver falsely advertise an i2c-hid compatiblity-id
+ DSM in their ACPI-fwnodes. If some of them actually do have this
false advertising, then this change may lead to regressions.

While at it also drop the unnecessary DEVICE_NAME prefixing of the
"I2C check functionality error", dev_err already outputs the driver-name.

Hans de Goede b1f664901d misc: lis3lv02d: Fix false-positive WARN on various HP models
commit 3641762c1c9c7cfd84a7061a0a73054f09b412e3 upstream.

Before this commit lis3lv02d_get_pwron_wait() had a WARN_ONCE() to catch
a potential divide by 0. WARN macros should only be used to catch internal
kernel bugs and that is not the case here. We have been receiving a lot of
bug reports about kernel backtraces caused by this WARN.

The div value being checked comes from the lis3->odrs[] array. Which
is sized to be a power-of-2 matching the number of bits in lis3->odr_mask.

The only lis3 model where this array is not entirely filled with non zero
values. IOW the only model where we can hit the div == 0 check is the
3dc ("8 bits 3DC sensor") model:

int lis3_3dc_rates[16] = {0, 1, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 1600, 5000};

Note the 0 value at index 0, according to the datasheet an odr index of 0
means "Power-down mode". HP typically uses a lis3 accelerometer for HDD
fall protection. What I believe is happening here is that on newer
HP devices, which only contain a SDD, the BIOS is leaving the lis3 device
powered-down since it is not used for HDD fall protection.

Note that the lis3_3dc_rates array initializer only specifies 10 values,
which matches the datasheet. So it also contains 6 zero values at the end.

Replace the WARN with a normal check, which treats an odr index of 0
as power-down and uses a normal dev_err() to report the error in case
odr index point past the initialized part of the array.

[ Upstream commit c309a3e8793f7e01c4a4ec7960658380572cb576 ]

When the jack is partially inserted and then removed again it may be
removed while the hpdet code is running. In this case the following
may happen:

1. The "JACKDET rise" or ""JACKDET fall" IRQ triggers
2. arizona_jackdet runs and takes info->lock
3. The "HPDET" IRQ triggers
4. arizona_hpdet_irq runs, blocks on info->lock
5. arizona_jackdet calls arizona_stop_mic() and clears info->hpdet_done
6. arizona_jackdet releases info->lock
7. arizona_hpdet_irq now can continue running and:
7.1 Calls arizona_start_mic() (if a mic was detected)
7.2 sets info->hpdet_done

Step 7 is undesirable / a bug:
7.1 causes the device to stay in a high power-state (with MICVDD enabled)
7.2 causes hpdet to not run on the next jack insertion, which in turn
    causes the EXTCON_JACK_HEADPHONE state to never get set

This fixes both issues by skipping these 2 steps when arizona_hpdet_irq
runs after the jack has been unplugged.

The SST firmware's media and deep-buffer inputs are hardcoded to
S16LE, the corresponding DAIs don't have a hw_params callback and
their prepare callback also does not take the format into account.

So far the advertising of non working S24LE support has not caused
issues because pulseaudio defaults to S16LE, but changing pulse-audio's

Pipewire is replacing pulse now and pipewire prefers S24LE over S16LE

[ Upstream commit eee51df776bd6cac10a76b2779a9fdee3f622b2b ]

The adc_vol_tlv volume-control has a range from -17.625 dB to +30 dB,
not -176.25 dB to + 300 dB. This wrong scale is esp. a problem in userspace
apps which translate the dB scale to a linear scale. With the logarithmic
dB scale being of by a factor of 10 we loose all precision in the lower
area of the range when apps translate things to a linear scale.

E.g. the 0 dB default, which corresponds with a value of 47 of the
0 - 127 range for the control, would be shown as 0/100 in alsa-mixer.

Since the centi-dB values used in the TLV struct cannot represent the

commit 538d2dd0b9920334e6596977a664e9e7bac73703 upstream.

Stop reporting SW_DOCK events because this breaks suspend-on-lid-close.

SW_DOCK should only be reported for docking stations, but all the DSDTs in
my DSDT collection which use the intel-vbtn code, always seem to use this
for 2-in-1s / convertibles and set SW_DOCK=1 when in laptop-mode (in tandem
with setting SW_TABLET_MODE=0).

This causes userspace to think the laptop is docked to a port-replicator
and to disable suspend-on-lid-close, which is undesirable.

Map the dock events to KEY_IGNORE to avoid this broken SW_DOCK reporting.

Note this may theoretically cause us to stop reporting SW_DOCK on some
device where the 0xCA and 0xCB intel-vbtn events are actually used for
reporting docking to a classic docking-station / port-replicator but
I'm not aware of any such devices.

Also the most important thing is that we only report SW_DOCK when it
reliably reports being docked to a classic docking-station without any
false positives, which clearly is not the case here. If there is a
chance of reporting false positives then it is better to not report
SW_DOCK at all.

[ Upstream commit 39aa009bb66f9d5fbd1e58ca4aa03d6e6f2c9915 ]

Add a new force_caps module parameter to allow overriding the drivers
builtin capability detection mechanism.

This can be used to for example:
-Disable rfkill functionality on devices where there is an AA OEM DMI
 record advertising non functional rfkill switches
-Force loading of the driver on devices with a missing AA OEM DMI record

Note that force_caps is -1 when unset, this allows forcing the
capability field to 0, which results in acer-wmi only providing WMI
hotkey handling while disabling all other (led, rfkill, backlight)
functionality.

Hans de Goede 26abce4fab platform/x86: hp-wmi: Disable tablet-mode reporting by default
[ Upstream commit 67fbe02a5cebc3c653610f12e3c0424e58450153 ]

Recently userspace has started making more use of SW_TABLET_MODE
(when an input-dev reports this).

Specifically recent GNOME3 versions will:

1. When SW_TABLET_MODE is reported and is reporting 0:
1.1 Disable accelerometer-based screen auto-rotation
1.2 Disable automatically showing the on-screen keyboard when a
    text-input field is focussed

2. When SW_TABLET_MODE is reported and is reporting 1:
2.1 Ignore input-events from the builtin keyboard and touchpad
    (this is for 360° hinges style 2-in-1s where the keyboard and
     touchpads are accessible on the back of the tablet when folded
     into tablet-mode)

This means that claiming to support SW_TABLET_MODE when it does not
actually work / reports correct values has bad side-effects.

The check in the hp-wmi code which is used to decide if the input-dev
should claim SW_TABLET_MODE support, only checks if the
HPWMI_HARDWARE_QUERY is supported. It does *not* check if the hardware
actually is capable of reporting SW_TABLET_MODE.

This leads to the hp-wmi input-dev claiming SW_TABLET_MODE support,
while in reality it will always report 0 as SW_TABLET_MODE value.
This has been seen on a "HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-cp0xxx" and
this likely is the case on a whole lot of other HP models.

This problem causes both auto-rotation and on-screen keyboard
support to not work on affected x360 models.

There is no easy fix for this, but since userspace expects
SW_TABLET_MODE reporting to be reliable when advertised it is
better to not claim/report SW_TABLET_MODE support at all, then
to claim to support it while it does not work.

To avoid the mentioned problems, add a new enable_tablet_mode_sw
module-parameter which defaults to false.

Note I've made this an int using the standard -1=auto, 0=off, 1=on
triplett, with the hope that in the future we can come up with a
better way to detect SW_TABLET_MODE support. ATM the default
auto option just does the same as off.

[ Upstream commit 46c54cf2706122c37497896d56d67b0c0aca2ede ]

The Estar Beauty HD (MID 7316R) tablet uses a Goodix touchscreen,
with the X and Y coordinates swapped compared to the LCD panel.

Add a touchscreen_dmi entry for this adding a "touchscreen-swapped-x-y"
device-property to the i2c-client instantiated for this device before
the driver binds.

This is the first entry of a Goodix touchscreen to touchscreen_dmi.c,
so far DMI quirks for Goodix touchscreen's have been added directly
to drivers/input/touchscreen/goodix.c. Currently there are 3
DMI tables in goodix.c:
1. rotated_screen[] for devices where the touchscreen is rotated
   180 degrees vs the LCD panel
2. inverted_x_screen[] for devices where the X axis is inverted
3. nine_bytes_report[] for devices which use a non standard touch
   report size

Arguably only 3. really needs to be inside the driver and the other
2 cases are better handled through the generic touchscreen DMI quirk
mechanism from touchscreen_dmi.c, which allows adding device-props to
any i2c-client. Esp. now that goodix.c is using the generic
touchscreen_properties code.

Alternative to the approach from this patch we could add a 4th
dmi_system_id table for devices with swapped-x-y axis to goodix.c,
but that seems undesirable.

[ Upstream commit 070222731be52d741e55d8967b1764482b81e54c ]

THe HP Stream x360 Convertible PC 11 DSDT has the following VGBS function:

            Method (VGBS, 0, Serialized)
            {
                If ((^^PCI0.LPCB.EC0.ROLS == Zero))
                {
                    VBDS = Zero
                }
                Else
                {
                    VBDS = Zero
                }

                Return (VBDS) /* \_SB_.VGBI.VBDS */
            }

Which is obviously wrong, because it always returns 0 independent of the
2-in-1 being in laptop or tablet mode. This causes the intel-vbtn driver
to initially report SW_TABLET_MODE = 1 to userspace, which is known to
cause problems when the 2-in-1 is actually in laptop mode.

During earlier testing this turned out to not be a problem because the
2-in-1 would do a Notify(..., 0xCC) or Notify(..., 0xCD) soon after
the intel-vbtn driver loaded, correcting the SW_TABLET_MODE state.

Further testing however has shown that this Notify() soon after the
intel-vbtn driver loads, does not always happen. When the Notify
does not happen, then intel-vbtn reports SW_TABLET_MODE = 1 resulting in
a non-working touchpad.

IOW the tablet-mode reporting is not reliable on this device, so it
should be dropped from the allow-list, fixing the touchpad sometimes
not working.

commit 5c3b5796866f85354a5ce76a28f8ffba0dcefc7e upstream.

There have been multiple revisions of the patch fix the h5->rx_skb
leak. Accidentally the first revision (which is buggy) and v5 have
both been merged:

v1 commit 70f259a3f427 ("Bluetooth: hci_h5: close serdev device and free
hu in h5_close");
v5 commit 855af2d74c87 ("Bluetooth: hci_h5: fix memory leak in h5_close")

The correct v5 makes changes slightly higher up in the h5_close()
function, which allowed both versions to get merged without conflict.

The changes from v1 unconditionally frees the h5 data struct, this
is wrong because in the serdev enumeration case the memory is
allocated in h5_serdev_probe() like this:

        h5 = devm_kzalloc(dev, sizeof(*h5), GFP_KERNEL);

So its lifetime is tied to the lifetime of the driver being bound
to the serdev and it is automatically freed when the driver gets
unbound. In the serdev case the same h5 struct is re-used over
h5_close() and h5_open() calls and thus MUST not be free-ed in
h5_close().

The serdev_device_close() added to h5_close() is incorrect in the
same way, serdev_device_close() is called on driver unbound too and
also MUST no be called from h5_close().

This reverts the changes made by merging v1 of the patch, so that
just the changes of the correct v5 remain.

Hans de Goede 3e17354a34 power: supply: axp288_charger: Fix HP Pavilion x2 10 DMI matching
[ Upstream commit a0f1ccd96c7049377d892a4299b6d5e47ec9179d ]

Commit 9c80662a74cd ("power: supply: axp288_charger: Add special handling
for HP Pavilion x2 10") added special handling for HP Pavilion x2 10
models which use the weird combination of a Type-C connector and the
non Type-C aware AXP288 PMIC.

This special handling was activated by a DMI match a the product-name
of "HP Pavilion x2 Detachable". Recently I've learned that there are
also older "HP Pavilion x2 Detachable" models with an AXP288 PMIC +
a micro-usb connector where we should not activate the special handling
for the Type-C connectors.

Extend the matching to also match on the DMI board-name and match on the
2 boards (one Bay Trail based one Cherry Trail based) of which we are
certain that they use the AXP288 + Type-C connector combination.

Note the DSDT code from these older (AXP288 + micro-USB) models contains
some AML code (which never runs under Linux) which reads the micro-USB
connector id-pin and if it is pulled to ground, which would normally mean
the port is in host mode!, then it sets the input-current-limit to 3A,
it seems HP is using the micro-USB port as a charging only connector
and identifies their own 3A capable charger though this hack which is a
major violation of the USB specs. Note HP also hardcodes a 2A limit
when the id-pin is not pulled to ground, which is also in violation
of the specs.

I've no intention to add support for HP's hack to support 3A charging
on these older models. By making the DMI matches for the Type-C equipped
models workaround more tighter, these older models will be treated just
like any other AXP288 + micro-USB equipped device and the input-current
limit will follow the BC 1.2 spec (using the defacto standard values
there where the BC 1.2 spec defines a range).

[ Upstream commit f2eae1888cf22590c38764b8fa3c989c0283870e ]

The Yoga 11e series has 2 accelerometers described by a BOSC0200 ACPI node.
This setup relies on a Windows service which reads both accelerometers and
then calculates the angle between the 2 halves to determine laptop / tent /
tablet mode and then reports the calculated mode back to the EC by calling
special ACPI methods on the BOSC0200 node.

The bmc150 iio driver does not support this (it involves double
calculations requiring sqrt and arccos so this really needs to be done
in userspace), as a result of this on the Yoga 11e the thinkpad_acpi
code always reports SW_TABLET_MODE=0, starting with GNOME 3.38 reporting
SW_TABLET_MODE=0 causes GNOME to:

1. Not show the onscreen keyboard when a text-input field is focussed
   with the touchscreen.
2. Disable accelerometer based auto display-rotation.

This makes sense when in laptop-mode but not when in tablet-mode. But
since for the Yoga 11e the thinkpad_acpi code always reports
SW_TABLET_MODE=0, GNOME does not know when the device is in tablet-mode.

Stop reporting the broken (always 0) SW_TABLET_MODE on Yoga 11e models
to fix this.

Note there are plans for userspace to support 360 degree hinges style
2-in-1s with 2 accelerometers and figure out the mode by itself, see:

Hans de Goede cbb8de543f pinctrl: baytrail: Fix pin being driven low for a while on gpiod_get(..., GPIOD_OUT_HIGH)
commit 156abe2961601d60a8c2a60c6dc8dd6ce7adcdaf upstream

The pins on the Bay Trail SoC have separate input-buffer and output-buffer
enable bits and a read of the level bit of the value register will always
return the value from the input-buffer.

The BIOS of a device may configure a pin in output-only mode, only enabling
the output buffer, and write 1 to the level bit to drive the pin high.
This 1 written to the level bit will be stored inside the data-latch of the
output buffer.

But a subsequent read of the value register will return 0 for the level bit
because the input-buffer is disabled. This causes a read-modify-write as
done by byt_gpio_set_direction() to write 0 to the level bit, driving the
pin low!

Before this commit byt_gpio_direction_output() relied on
pinctrl_gpio_direction_output() to set the direction, followed by a call
to byt_gpio_set() to apply the selected value. This causes the pin to
go low between the pinctrl_gpio_direction_output() and byt_gpio_set()
calls.

Change byt_gpio_direction_output() to directly make the register
modifications itself instead. Replacing the 2 subsequent writes to the
value register with a single write.

Note that the pinctrl code does not keep track internally of the direction,
so not going through pinctrl_gpio_direction_output() is not an issue.

This issue was noticed on a Trekstor SurfTab Twin 10.1. When the panel is
already on at boot (no external monitor connected), then the i915 driver
does a gpiod_get(..., GPIOD_OUT_HIGH) for the panel-enable GPIO. The
temporarily going low of that GPIO was causing the panel to reset itself
after which it would not show an image until it was turned off and back on
again (until a full modeset was done on it). This commit fixes this.

This commit also updates the byt_gpio_direction_input() to use direct
register accesses instead of going through pinctrl_gpio_direction_input(),
to keep it consistent with byt_gpio_direction_output().

Hans de Goede c2e042a2e4 pinctrl: baytrail: Replace WARN with dev_info_once when setting direct-irq pin to output
commit e2b74419e5cc7cfc58f3e785849f73f8fa0af5b3 upstream

Suspending Goodix touchscreens requires changing the interrupt pin to
output before sending them a power-down command. Followed by wiggling
the interrupt pin to wake the device up, after which it is put back
in input mode.

On Cherry Trail device the interrupt pin is listed as a GpioInt ACPI
resource so we can do this without problems as long as we release the
IRQ before changing the pin to output mode.

On Bay Trail devices with a Goodix touchscreen direct-irq mode is used
in combination with listing the pin as a normal GpioIo resource. This
works fine, but this triggers the WARN in byt_gpio_set_direction-s output
path because direct-irq support is enabled on the pin.

This commit replaces the WARN call with a dev_info_once call, fixing a
bunch of WARN splats in dmesg on each suspend/resume cycle.

The battery status is also being reported by the logitech-hidpp driver,
so ignore the standard HID battery status to avoid reporting the same
info twice.

Note the logitech-hidpp battery driver provides more info, such as properly
differentiating between charging and discharging. Also the standard HID
battery info seems to be wrong, reporting a capacity of just 26% after
fully charging the device.

Hans de Goede 94b6e6ee17 Input: i8042 - allow insmod to succeed on devices without an i8042 controller
[ Upstream commit b1884583fcd17d6a1b1bba94bbb5826e6b5c6e17 ]

The i8042 module exports several symbols which may be used by other
modules.

Before this commit it would refuse to load (when built as a module itself)
on systems without an i8042 controller.

This is a problem specifically for the asus-nb-wmi module. Many Asus
laptops support the Asus WMI interface. Some of them have an i8042
controller and need to use i8042_install_filter() to filter some kbd
events. Other models do not have an i8042 controller (e.g. they use an
USB attached kbd).

Before this commit the asus-nb-wmi driver could not be loaded on Asus
models without an i8042 controller, when the i8042 code was built as
a module (as Arch Linux does) because the module_init function of the
i8042 module would fail with -ENODEV and thus the i8042_install_filter
symbol could not be loaded.

This commit fixes this by exiting from module_init with a return code
of 0 if no controller is found. It also adds a i8042_present bool to
make the module_exit function a no-op in this case and also adds a
check for i8042_present to the exported i8042_command function.

The latter i8042_present check should not really be necessary because
when builtin that function can already be used on systems without
an i8042 controller, but better safe then sorry.

Hans de Goede 03fe4c0880 iio: accel: kxcjk1013: Add support for KIOX010A ACPI DSM for setting tablet-mode
commit e5b1032a656e9aa4c7a4df77cb9156a2a651a5f9 upstream.

Some 360 degree hinges (yoga) style 2-in-1 devices use 2 KXCJ91008-s
to allow the OS to determine the angle between the display and the base
of the device, so that the OS can determine if the 2-in-1 is in laptop
or in tablet-mode.

On Windows both accelerometers are read by a special HingeAngleService
process; and this process calls a DSM (Device Specific Method) on the
ACPI KIOX010A device node for the sensor in the display, to let the
embedded-controller (EC) know about the mode so that it can disable the
kbd and touchpad to avoid spurious input while folded into tablet-mode.

This notifying of the EC is problematic because sometimes the EC comes up
thinking that device is in tablet-mode and the kbd and touchpad do not
work. This happens for example on Irbis NB111 devices after a suspend /
resume cycle (after a complete battery drain / hard reset without having
booted Windows at least once). Other 2-in-1s which are likely affected
too are e.g. the Teclast F5 and F6 series.

The kxcjk-1013 driver may seem like a strange place to deal with this,
but since it is *the* driver for the ACPI KIOX010A device, it is also
the driver which has access to the ACPI handle needed by the DSM.

Add support for calling the DSM and on probe unconditionally tell the
EC that the device is laptop mode, fixing the kbd and touchpad sometimes
not working.

[ Upstream commit 7daaa06357bf7f1874b62bb1ea9d66a51d4e567e ]

The Medion Akoya E2228T's ACPI _LID implementation is quite broken,
it has the same issues as the one from the Medion Akoya E2215T:

1. For notifications it uses an ActiveLow Edge GpioInt, rather then
   an ActiveBoth one, meaning that the device is only notified when the
   lid is closed, not when it is opened.

2. Matching with this its _LID method simply always returns 0 (closed)

In order for the Linux LID code to work properly with this implementation,
the lid_init_state selection needs to be set to ACPI_BUTTON_LID_INIT_OPEN,
add a DMI quirk for this.

While working on this I also found out that the MD60### part of the model
number differs per country/batch while all of the E2215T and E2228T models
have this issue, so also remove the " MD60198" part from the E2215T quirk.

commit 93df48d37c3f03886d84831992926333e7810640 upstream.

uvc_ctrl_add_info() calls uvc_ctrl_get_flags() which will override
the fixed-up flags set by uvc_ctrl_fixup_xu_info().

uvc_ctrl_init_xu_ctrl() already calls uvc_ctrl_get_flags() before
calling uvc_ctrl_add_info(), so the uvc_ctrl_get_flags() call in
uvc_ctrl_add_info() is not necessary for xu ctrls.

This commit moves the uvc_ctrl_get_flags() call for normal controls
from uvc_ctrl_add_info() to uvc_ctrl_init_ctrl(), so that we no longer
call uvc_ctrl_get_flags() twice for xu controls and so that we no longer
override the fixed-up flags set by uvc_ctrl_fixup_xu_info().

This fixes the xu motor controls not working properly on a Logitech
046d:08cc, and presumably also on the other Logitech models which have
a quirk for this in the uvc_ctrl_fixup_xu_info() function.

[ Upstream commit 8058d69905058ec8f467a120b5ec5bb831ea67f3 ]

Commit 21653a4181ff ("i2c: core: Call i2c_acpi_install_space_handler()
before i2c_acpi_register_devices()")'s intention was to only move the
acpi_install_address_space_handler() call to the point before where
the ACPI declared i2c-children of the adapter where instantiated by
i2c_acpi_register_devices().

But i2c_acpi_install_space_handler() had a call to
acpi_walk_dep_device_list() hidden (that is I missed it) at the end
of it, so as an unwanted side-effect now acpi_walk_dep_device_list()
was also being called before i2c_acpi_register_devices().

Move the acpi_walk_dep_device_list() call to the end of
i2c_acpi_register_devices(), so that it is once again called *after*
the i2c_client-s hanging of the adapter have been created.

This fixes the Microsoft Surface Go 2 hanging at boot.

Hans de Goede 02f420c5fd pwm: lpss: Add range limit check for the base_unit register value
[ Upstream commit ef9f60daab309558c8bb3e086a9a11ee40bd6061 ]

When the user requests a high enough period ns value, then the
calculations in pwm_lpss_prepare() might result in a base_unit value of 0.

But according to the data-sheet the way the PWM controller works is that
each input clock-cycle the base_unit gets added to a N bit counter and
that counter overflowing determines the PWM output frequency. Adding 0
to the counter is a no-op. The data-sheet even explicitly states that
writing 0 to the base_unit bits will result in the PWM outputting a
continuous 0 signal.

When the user requestes a low enough period ns value, then the
calculations in pwm_lpss_prepare() might result in a base_unit value
which is bigger then base_unit_range - 1. Currently the codes for this
deals with this by applying a mask:

	base_unit &= (base_unit_range - 1);

But this means that we let the value overflow the range, we throw away the
higher bits and store whatever value is left in the lower bits into the
register leading to a random output frequency, rather then clamping the
output frequency to the highest frequency which the hardware can do.

This commit fixes both issues by clamping the base_unit value to be
between 1 and (base_unit_range - 1).

[ Upstream commit 181f4d2f44463fe09fe4df02e03095cb87151c29 ]

According to the data-sheet the way the PWM controller works is that
each input clock-cycle the base_unit gets added to a N bit counter and
that counter overflowing determines the PWM output frequency.

So assuming e.g. a 16 bit counter this means that if base_unit is set to 1,
after 65535 input clock-cycles the counter has been increased from 0 to
65535 and it will overflow on the next cycle, so it will overflow after
every 65536 clock cycles and thus the calculations done in
pwm_lpss_prepare() should use 65536 and not 65535.

This commit fixes this. Note this also aligns the calculations in
pwm_lpss_prepare() with those in pwm_lpss_get_state().

Note this effectively reverts commit 684309e504 ("pwm: lpss: Avoid
potential overflow of base_unit"). The next patch in this series really
fixes the potential overflow of the base_unit value.

Hans de Goede dfedfbe0fe platform/x86: intel-vbtn: Switch to an allow-list for SW_TABLET_MODE reporting
commit 8169bd3e6e193497cab781acddcff8fde5d0c416 upstream.

2 recent commits:

on the 9 / "Laptop" chasis-type")
1fac39fd0316 ("platform/x86: intel-vbtn: Also handle tablet-mode switch on
"Detachable" and "Portable" chassis-types")

Enabled reporting of SW_TABLET_MODE on more devices since the vbtn ACPI
interface is used by the firmware on some of those devices to report this.

Testing has shown that unconditionally enabling SW_TABLET_MODE reporting
on all devices with a chassis type of 8 ("Portable") or 10 ("Notebook")
which support the VGBS method is a very bad idea.

Many of these devices are normal laptops (non 2-in-1) models with a VGBS
which always returns 0, which we translate to SW_TABLET_MODE=1. This in
turn causes userspace (libinput) to suppress events from the builtin
keyboard and touchpad, making the laptop essentially unusable.

Since the problem of wrongly reporting SW_TABLET_MODE=1 in combination
with libinput, leads to a non-usable system. Where as OTOH many people will
not even notice when SW_TABLET_MODE is not being reported, this commit
changes intel_vbtn_has_switches() to use a DMI based allow-list.

The new DMI based allow-list matches on the 31 ("Convertible") and
32 ("Detachable") chassis-types, as these clearly are 2-in-1s and
so far if they support the intel-vbtn ACPI interface they all have
properly working SW_TABLET_MODE reporting.

Besides these 2 generic matches, it also contains model specific matches
for 2-in-1 models which use a different chassis-type and which are known
to have properly working SW_TABLET_MODE reporting.

This has been tested on the following 2-in-1 devices:

Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130 vPro
HP Pavilion X2 10-p002nd
HP Stream x360 Convertible PC 11
Medion E1239T

commit d823346876a970522ff9e4d2b323c9b734dcc4de upstream.

Commit cfae58ed681c ("platform/x86: intel-vbtn: Only blacklist

reporting on the HP stream x360 11 series on which it was previously broken
by commit de9647efea ("platform/x86: intel-vbtn: Only activate tablet
mode switch on 2-in-1's").

It turns out that enabling SW_TABLET_MODE reporting on devices with a
chassis-type of 10 ("Notebook") causes SW_TABLET_MODE to always report 1
at boot on the HP Pavilion 11 x360, which causes libinput to disable the
kbd and touchpad.

The HP Pavilion 11 x360's ACPI VGBS method sets bit 4 instead of bit 6 when
NOT in tablet mode at boot. Inspecting all the DSDTs in my DSDT collection
shows only one other model, the Medion E1239T ever setting bit 4 and it
always sets this together with bit 6.

So lets treat bit 4 as a second bit which when set indicates the device not
being in tablet-mode, as we already do for bit 6.

While at it also prefix all VGBS constant defines with "VGBS_".

Hans de Goede 30028c328b HID: i2c-hid: Always sleep 60ms after I2C_HID_PWR_ON commands
commit eef4016243e94c438f177ca8226876eb873b9c75 upstream.

Before this commit i2c_hid_parse() consists of the following steps:

1. Send power on cmd
2. usleep_range(1000, 5000)
3. Send reset cmd
4. Wait for reset to complete (device interrupt, or msleep(100))
5. Send power on cmd
6. Try to read HID descriptor

Notice how there is an usleep_range(1000, 5000) after the first power-on
command, but not after the second power-on command.

Testing has shown that at least on the BMAX Y13 laptop's i2c-hid touchpad,
not having a delay after the second power-on command causes the HID
descriptor to read as all zeros.

In case we hit this on other devices too, the descriptor being all zeros
can be recognized by the following message being logged many, many times:

hid-generic 0018:0911:5288.0002: unknown main item tag 0x0

At the same time as the BMAX Y13's touchpad issue was debugged,
Kai-Heng was working on debugging some issues with Goodix i2c-hid
touchpads. It turns out that these need a delay after a PWR_ON command
too, otherwise they stop working after a suspend/resume cycle.
According to Goodix a delay of minimal 60ms is needed.

Having multiple cases where we need a delay after sending the power-on
command, seems to indicate that we should always sleep after the power-on
command.

This commit fixes the mentioned issues by moving the existing 1ms sleep to
the i2c_hid_set_power() function and changing it to a 60ms sleep.

Hans de Goede 2005c8285c ASoC: rt5670: Add new gpio1_is_ext_spk_en quirk and enable it on the Lenovo Miix 2 10
commit 85ca6b17e2bb96b19caac3b02c003d670b66de96 upstream.

The Lenovo Miix 2 10 has a keyboard dock with extra speakers in the dock.
Rather then the ACL5672's GPIO1 pin being used as IRQ to the CPU, it is
actually used to enable the amplifier for these speakers
(the IRQ to the CPU comes directly from the jack-detect switch).

Add a quirk for having an ext speaker-amplifier enable pin on GPIO1
and replace the Lenovo Miix 2 10's dmi_system_id table entry's wrong
GPIO_DEV quirk (which needs to be renamed to GPIO1_IS_IRQ) with the
new RT5670_GPIO1_IS_EXT_SPK_EN quirk, so that we enable the external
speaker-amplifier as necessary.

Also update the ident field for the dmi_system_id table entry, the
Miix models are not Thinkpads.
